In-Person and YouTube: Daylong Mindfulness Meditation with Tanya Wiser and Kodo Colin

All-day mindfulness meditation retreat on Saturday, 10/1/22 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. This day-long retreat format allows for a number of meditation sessions in a single day which provides an opportunity to learn how to apply the instructions and to build momentum and continuity in mindfulness. The schedule consists of alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation.  Light guidance will be offered on mindfulness of breath, body, emotions, thoughts and open awareness practices.  Brief one-on-one meetings with the teachers to talk about your meditation practice will be available.  This retreat is recommended for those with a regular meditation practice and some formal mindfulness meditation training such as completion of the Establishing a Practice series or the 5 week Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation courses offered at IMC. This daylong is a great way to experience the benefits of a full day of practicing. Bring Lunch.
