Online Courses Online Courses Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation Next course dates: not decided, probably early spring 2020 If you would like to be notified when the next course dates are decided, please sign up for our mailing list by clicking here. Please see FAQ’s below before emailing us. Course Description: This course is based on Gil Fronsdal’s six-week Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation class. We spend a week each on working with breath, body, emotions, thoughts, mind-states and daily life. The course includes recorded talks, written materials, daily emails and weekly reflections. In addition, 5 weeks of personal support is offered to participants by experienced meditation mentors either by email or video conferencing at a pre-arranged time. (Gil does not offer any personal support). The course material is not live, so it can be done at any time during the day. The course may also be Audited without personal teacher support. If you choose to register for teacher support, please take this commitment seriously: a volunteer experienced meditator will be reserving weekly time for you. Frequently Asked Questions: When will the next course be offered? How can I find out? If no dates are listed above, then we don’t know yet. Dates will appear on this page as soon as they are known. Historically we have offered it in the fall and sometimes at other times of year. However, it is likely that we will begin offering it early in the new year to accommodate volunteer availability. If you would like to be notified when the next course dates are decided, please sign up for our mailing list by clicking here. What does this course cost? As with all IMC programs, this course is freely offered. That means there is no fee, but there will be a donation button on the course’s website if you wish to offer support for the teachers and the program. How do I enroll? When the next course dates are announced, this page will say what day and time registration will open. On that day and time, a link to an application form will appear on this page. At that time you can fill out the application. If your question is not answered above, you may email Audiodharma Course. As we are all volunteers with limited time, it would be helpful to make sure you’ve read the FAQ’s above before emailing us. Donations are welcome.
