As we begin the new year we can come together to care for our dear planet through a deeper understanding of the state-of-the-planet and meaningful actions we can take. The session will cover following topics:
- A presentation on state of the planet through science and available data
- A brief review of climate models using EnRoads Climate Simulator that provides guidance to make decisions to engage meaningfully.
- Bringing personal agency to act to positively impact through right initiatives.
- Applying the steps of the Eightfold Path to understand and address suffering
The session will also include a compassionate listening circle to bring diverse voices to the cause and hopefully to inspire each other to move forward to engage and act.
We recommend you watch or listen to Gil Fronsdal’s teaching from January 14, 2024 in preparation for the meeting: Four Noble Truths at Three Different Levels
