Dharma Friends events encourage spiritually-based friendships and a sense of community in our sangha. All sangha members are welcome to our events and may bring friends.
There is no cost for classes, events or retreats at IMC. No pre-registration is required unless otherwise stated.
We encourage sangha members to submit ideas for new events. We’re also here to support you through the process of planning and/or hosting them if you need it. Here are some guidelines and ideas to help you..

Bring Joy to Local Seniors through Music with Sona’s Dharma Strummers! Sona’s Dharma Strummers are a group of sangha members who get together once a month to sing old favorites with the residents of local Residential Senior Care Facilities accompanied by our ukulele playing. If you don't play the ukulele, you can come and sing along.
Sunday May 12: Practice Session in a nearby home 1:00pm to 2:30pm. Basic ukulele instruction provided, but it will be easier for you if you've started learning from YouTube or elsewhere.
Sunday May 19: Gigs at Redwood City Senior Care Facilities • Gordon Manor – 2:00-3:00pm.
• Hopkins Manor – 3:15-4:15pm
