There is no cost for classes, events or retreats at IMC. No pre-registration is required unless otherwise stated.
We encourage sangha members to submit ideas for new events. We’re also here to support you through the process of planning and/or hosting them if you need it. Here are some guidelines and ideas to help you..

Plan for the Next Two Weeks
4/10 Finish our current book, The DhammapadaChapter 26. The Brahmin. Starting with stanza 369.
Test using Dharma talk transcripts as the basis of our meeting. For the rest of the meeting we will discuss the transcripts a few of Gil’s talks from earlier this year. If we like this approach we may tackle a whole Gil series in this way in the future. Attached you will find a “Machine generated transcript” of 4 Gil talks from his series on Love. Having a paper copy will help us with our discussions. The links to the actual talks are below.

Bring Joy to Local Seniors through Music with Sona’s Dharma Strummers! Sona’s Dharma Strummers are a group of sangha members who get together once a month to sing old favorites with the residents of local Residential Senior Care Facilities accompanied by our ukulele playing. If you don't play the ukulele, you can come and sing along.
Sunday April 12: Practice Session in a nearby home 1:00pm to 2:30pm. Basic ukulele instruction provided, but it will be easier for you if you've started learning from YouTube or elsewhere.
Sunday April 26: Performances at Redwood City Senior Care Facilities • Gordon Manor – 1:45-2:45pm.
• Hopkins Manor – 3:15-4:15pm
