When Dharma is found in Sangha and Sangha supports Dharma practice, a Buddhist community grows and matures.These two principles have been central to the Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City that Gil Fronsdal has led for the last thirty years. For this Insight Santa Cruz fundraising event, Gil will describe his decades-long experience with the growth of the Insight Meditation Center, an all-dana Sangha. Like IMC, Insight Santa Cruz has offered teachings freely for over 30 years.

The presentation and dialogue will orient toward what might be beneficial for the ISC community. The event will include a guided meditation, a Dharma of Sangha presentation, a discussion, and small group discussions to build sangha among those who attend. It will end with refreshments and time to talk informally.

We are excited to offer these teachings for the benefit of all and to host this special fundraising event. All donations will go toward creating a financial foundation for the long-term wellbeing of Insight Santa Cruz. Everyone is welcome.
