Join us for an afternoon retreat at the Environmental Volunteers’ EcoCenter located at the beautiful Palo Alto Baylands’ Nature Preserve. We will collectively turn off our digital devices and turn our hearts and minds to awe inspiring nature inside and outside. The event is held rain or shine, partly indoors and partly outdoors, sitting and walking. There will be guided meditation, periods of silent sitting and walking, Q/A, and a short dharma talk. Beginners and experienced practitioners welcome.
Chairs available. If you wish to sit on the floor, please bring zafu/zabuton.
Fear not the summer heat! Outdoors, there is a cooling afternoon breeze at the Baylands, and indoors, there is AC. Bring hat and water.
