Welcome to our Dharma page in Spanish. We are a community of teachers and practitioners of meditation and Buddhist teachings in the Theravada/Insight tradition. Teachings such as ethics, mindfulness, loving-kindness and compassion are intended to promote well-being and wisdom in ourselves and our communities; as well as encourage us to question and think independently, and to become familiar with our inner world, exploring our thoughts, emotions and desires. These practices can be cultivated in conjunction with whatever your beliefs or religion.
Weekly online meetings
Las sesiones son por zoom:
Our group meets every Tuesday online from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Meeting ID: 860 3027 5712
Passcode: Respirando
Find your local number: https://us02web.zoom.us/u/kbrKxQA6CA
All people are welcome, no matter the level of experience or how long you have been practicing.
In the sessions we offer a meditation, a Dharma talk and a group discussion. Our intention is to offer a space where each person feels welcomed, and inspired to discover and learn about what undermines their well-being and happiness.
In-person, hybrid meetings, one Saturday per month
Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. PT.
These sessions are an opportunity to cultivate our community. After the teaching we share informally. Please note that these in-person sessions are not held at IMC, they are in Redwood Shores, near our center. We offer the possibility of participating online for those who are unable to participate in person.
If you would like to participate in these sessions please contact Antonio Martinez antmaral57@yahoo.com.mx
Support for Beginners
We have a complete five-part introductory meditation course online. You can visit the website to access the course and also use the guided meditation.
Dharma Resources in Spanish
Here you will find books by Gil Fronsdal; links to websites of interest; links to other sister organizations and their resources; links to audio resources (including instructions and dharma talks from AudioDharma). This represents a new effort by IMC to make resources available and accessible to support all who practice meditation and daily life in the Theravada/Insight/Vipassana traditions—both beginners and those with established practices.
Audiodharma
Weekly Dharma talks and discussions are recorded and posted on our website. If you would like to listen to a talk again or access other talks you can go to this site.

Dana
Dana is the Pali word for generosity. These teachings have been offered as an act of generosity since the time of the Buddha. In ancient Asia people expressed their gratitude for the teachings by offering food to the monks. Today gratitude is expressed through donations made by practitioners to the teachers and the center. Each person offers what he or she considers appropriate for his or her situation. Donations are welcome.
