November Weeklong Intensive with Matthew Brensilver

Ethics, Samadhi, and Wisdom in our Interpersonal Life

November 14th – November 20th 2021

Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m. – On IMC’s YouTube Channel

Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 -7:45 p.m. – On Zoom (link info below)

Saturday 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. On Zoom (link info below)

This week of practice is an immersion into dharma practice, amidst the fullness of our lives. It is organized around the exploration of how sila (ethical conduct), samadhi (unified attention), and panna (wisdom) function in our interpersonal lives. We live in a web of mutuality – the interpersonal realm is where the rubber meets the road in our spiritual lives. Others act like a magnet for the paramis (The ten perfections) and the kilesas (the ten afflictions), pulling both our goodness and our unconsciousness to the surface. How can we infuse the principles of the dharma into our relational lives? How can others serve as a mirror for our practice and self-understanding? How can we express our joy and freedom in the world?

The program will feature daily morning meditations – offered through IMC’s weekday at 7:00 a.m. YouTube program, two evening sessions, and a daylong. It is an opportunity to bring a spirit of active investigation into our interpersonal life.

If interested, please commit to making it to as many of the sessions as you are able.
