Earthcare on the Path to Freedom with Ayya Santussika

Earthcare on the Path to Freedom with Ayya Santussika

Saturday, January 30, 2021  10:00am – 12:00pm
with Ayya Santussika
As we abandon the causes of suffering, happiness, and contentment increase, wisdom arises to guide our actions, and we find new energy to live peacefully and productively, including helping to restore our natural world.
Freedom from fear, anger, anxiety and despair, even when we take in the enormity of the consequences of climate change — this is the Buddha’s promise.
Ajahn Jayasaro: “Look. Inquire. Where is the suffering right now? Examine your mind closely…Ask yourself: where is the craving? Look for the connection. Learn to let go of the craving to get and consume … the craving to be, to be seen as, to be known as, to become. Learn to let go of the craving to get rid of, to escape from… this is the practice.”
This session will include teachings, meditation and discussion. Participation in breakout groups will be optional.
