Beginning Meditation

There is no cost for any of these classes or events. No pre-registration
is required. Donations are welcome.
Ongoing Events
Basic Meditation Instruction
Every Thursday, 6:15 - 7:15 pm
First Monday of each month, 6:15 - 7:15 pm
First Thursday of each month, 10:30 - 11:30 am
These classes are taught by experienced meditation students. Attending
once or twice is helpful in beginning a meditation practice.
Special Events
Introductory Course in Mindfulness Meditation
- 5 Tuesday mornings, June 10 - July 8, 9:30 - 11:00 am with Andrea Fella
- 5 Tuesday evenings, June 10 - July 8 with Andrea Fella
- 6 Wednesday evenings, October 1 - November 5, 7:30 - 9:00 pm with Gil Fronsdal
During this six-week course, the basic instructions in insight
meditation will be given sequentially, starting with mindfulness
of breathing, followed by mindfulness of the body, emotions, thoughts,
mind, and mindfulness in daily life and on retreats. No pre-registration
necessary.
